Samsung Internet Browser Returned in Play Store for Wear OS

Samsung Internet Browser is no doubt one of the essential apps for Wear OS watches. It allows users to browse the internet, watch YouTube videos, or check their Twitter feeds from the smartwatch. Suddenly, last week, the app disappeared from the Play Store for Wear OS. It created panic among users who don’t have the browser on their watches. We have also checked our watch, and yes, the app was not there in the store.

There were no clarifications from Samsung about why it was removed in the first place. The good news is, it has now returned to the Play Store, and users can download it on their Wear OS watches.

There are no changes in the app version, but they may have fixed some issues with the performance or quality. We haven’t noticed anything after the new installation, and everything is working fine. You can seamlessly browse the net.

The importance of this app is it is the only browser app for smartwatches. Google still has to announce its Google Chrome for the Wear OS watches, but Samsung already did it last year with Galaxy Watch 4.

To download the Samsung Internet Browser, open the Play Store on your smartwatch, and search for it. All Wear OS watches including Fossil, Mobvoi, Pixel Watch, and others can use the app. Do check for the app, and let us know whether it is working in your country or not.
