Honor Watch GS 3 Comes to Europe with SpO2 Sensor

Along with the Magic 4 series & Earbuds 3 Pro, Honor has announced Watch GS 3 in Europe. It was earlier launched in China with stainless steel material, and now, at MWC 2022 event, it is announced for European regions. After discontinuing the MagicWatch series, the GS 3 is Honor’s main smartwatch series. It brings a circular 1.43-inch display with 466×466 pixel resolution. There is Classic Gold, Midnight Black & Ocean Blue colors to choose from with various color of straps.

The SpO2 is the only sensor that we can say is a major thing to discuss here. When Samsung, Fitbit & Apple are offering plenty of major features on their premium smartwatches, Honor is lacking here. You still can’t ask for Electrocardiogram or Blood Pressure functions, which are missing on the current Honor watch. The former sister company Huawei is also by far giving premium services on Huawei Watch 3 Pro & GT 3 watches. The new Honor Watch GS 3 gets an eight-channel PPG heart rate sensor.

It has a dual-frequency GNSS receiver that supports five major positioning systems. It runs for 14 days on a single charge when using it in a normal mode. It is available for euro 229 with silicone strap, and euro 249 with Nappa leather strap. The release date is still in the mystery box by the company.
