Yesterday, we covered Samsung might be planning to bring back the physical rotating bezel with Galaxy Watch 6 Pro. Now the reporting coming from another source claims, the company might also reintroduce its Classic variant. The information from a reliable source at GalaxyClub mentions we probably see Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Of course, with this rumor, the whole existence of Galaxy Watch 6 Pro is now in doubt.
The Galaxy Watch 4 series has a Classic model, but with Galaxy Watch 5, Samsung ditched the Classic variant with the Pro model. Now, the company might want to revise the Classic one with six-gen Galaxy watches. Further, as said before, the Classic variant (or whatever they name it) may get an iconic physical rotating bezel.
The leaker also mentions Galaxy Watch 6 will offer 40mm & 44mm sizes, whereas Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will come in 42mm & 46mm sizes. Last year, there was only Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in a higher variant with a 45mm size.
In the battery capacity, the smaller 40mm Galaxy Watch will have a 300mAh battery, and the bigger 44mm variant will have 425mAh battery power. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 42mm version will have a 300mAh battery. There is no news about the 46mm Classic variant, so we can’t confirm it.
For a reminder, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has a 590mAh battery, the largest battery on any Galaxy Watches ever. We need to see how much battery Samsung offers on the bigger Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. We also need more information to confirm the Classic variant over the Pro variant or the existence of both this year.
