Apple Revamped WatchOS 10 to Redefine Watch Experience

Last month, Google put its Wear OS 4 software in front of developers and showed some major changes. The main competitor Apple has also done the same with the new WatchOS 10. It brings major features and changes to the Apple Watch towards more openness. The main screen of the watch will now call as Smart Stack. It also includes new watch faces with color palettes to tweak according to the need. It has removed honeycomb apps to focus solely on watch dials.

The physical button will now have a different task. A single press will open the control center on the smartwatch, and pressing two times will open recent apps. Apple has made changes to the app to present more information on the main screen. The WatchOS 10 also has two new watch faces – Snoopy & Woodstock.

Apart from Wear OS & One UI 5 Watch, Apple has tried to counter Garmin with its hiking features. Hikers can view trails with trail info like length, type, and difficulty. It gets offline maps with turn-by-turn navigation accessible from iPhone to Watch.
