Apple Watches are now growing faster than any other wearables in the global market. The latest report says Apple is dominating more than 45% of the wearable market, far ahead than Samsung’s Galaxy Watches & Fitbit’s Versa family members. The Apple Watch Series 4 & Apple Watch Series 5 is the most trending smartwatches and first choice of many buyers. Why not? It is because Apple has created a perfect wearable that supports thousands of quality apps, including Facebook Messenger. Facebook’s chat app is available in the App Store of Apple Watch.
Facebook’s other apps Instagram, WhatsApp Messenger, and Facebook, are not supported on Apple Watch, but Facebook Messenger has made its way to the wearables. You can chat with your friends, give quick replies, send emojis, GIFs, stickers, reply with voice services like Siri and many more features that you can use with the app. In this guide, I will briefly tell you how to use the Facebook Messenger app on Apple Watch Series 4 & Series 5 smartwatches.
Facebook Messenger on Apple Watch Series 5
First, download the Facebook Messenger on Apple Watch from App Store. The App Store is now a separate app on the Apple Watch so you don’t have to download & install using a paired iPhone. Scroll down the digital crown in the ‘Featured’ section or search for it. Once you find it, download & install it. After downloading, log in to it with the Facebook account. Now you are ready to chat with your friends. The Facebook Messenger app will synchronize all the contacts from your facebook and allow you to make conversation with them.
On Facebook Messenger you can send simple text messages, different kinds of emojis, GIFs, and stickers to make fruitful conversation. Also, you can open all the texts in these formats. Apple allows you to use Siri to send voice messages to your friends or family. The Apple Watch Series 4 & Series 5 carry 44mm display, making them perfect to use in chat. We must wait until the official Facebook app comes to Apple Watches; till then, we can use this simple service to send & receive texts. Drop the words, if you get any trouble while downloading Facebook Messenger.
